Experience & Skills:

  • Having 2+ years of experience in Android App Development (Java / Kotlin).

  • Experience with Android SDK tools/Android Studio, third-party libraries and APIs.

  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming, data structures and algorithms.

  • Experience covering all aspects of Android App dev and publishing on PlayStore.

  • Experience in Java programming, RESTful API, JSON.

  • Experience in cross-platform application development using various frameworks will be a plus (e.g. Flutter, React Native, Xamarin) • Knowledge of advanced UI/UX concepts of Android.

  • Familiar with version control repositories - Git, GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket.

  • Exposure of emerging technologies, architecture patterns, trends in mobile app development.

    • Know Your Role:

  • Work with an open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.

  • Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and release products.

  • Build reusable Android software components for the platform.

  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

  • Work on bug fixing to improve application performance and shipping new features as required.
