Experience & Skills:

  • Have an experience of 5-7 years in the field of Business Development and agri commodities domain.
  • Can carry out market research, diagnostic studies, business planning, design and execution of pilots independently.
  • History of successfully developing and leading multiple strategic partnerships.
  • Must be comfortable with complexity, and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction & Demonstrates use of critical thinking techniques.
  • Prior experience in sales and P&L management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills.
  • Know Your Role:

  • Lead the strategy and business development for the digital 'Agri Output' business.
  • Develop business plans and annual budgets in conjunction with the senior management.
  • Build and manage relationships with both sellers and buyers for the target crops and geographies.
  • Build and implement plan to rapidly onboard buyers (traders, enterprises, importers) and sellers (farmers, FPOs, farmer cooperatives) onto the digital agri output platform.
  • Plan and hire team to manage the on ground operations and smooth fulfillment of trade.
  • Manage and expand key stakeholder contact network with FPOs and works closely with internal teams to identify and expand networks.
  • Design Sales Enablement strategies and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Identify gaps in Grow Indigo's solution offerings and FPOs strategic business needs, and develops mitigation plans to fill gaps to meet marketplace requirements.
  • Work in close coordination with the product management function to finetune the platforms as per the business requirements.
  • Support development and management of key relationships and alliances, including outreach, communications, and strategy development.
  • Qualifications:

  • Post-Graduation in Agri-business Management/Business Administration.
